Selah Camp is a small, rustic, personal and small group retreat site. Located, in beautiful South Bruce Peninsula just 5 minutes north of Wiarton, only 3 hours north of Toronto, Selah offers a remote and serene setting for a much needed "time out" for today's busy lifestyles, and for your groups retreat.
There are five cabins of various sizes which can accommodate up to 40-50 people and 4 trailer sites with hydro and water for additional staff. A large chapel is perfect for your meeting place and we have a dining hall and kitchen building, with an additional outside eating area for those that prefer to eat in the fresh air.The washroom/ shower facility is a separate building centrally located.
SEASONS -
Selah Camp is available during the spring, summer, and fall; generally from April 1 through November 1. Contact us to approve dates outside this time period.
AVAILABLE ACTIVITIES -
Selah Camp offers canoeing, swimming, beach and water slide, archery, camp fires, beach volley ball, paint ball target practice, soccer, bocce ball, tetherball, shalockey, and a low ropes course for team building and confidence building games, as well as a large open grass area to play other games of your creation. Selah Camp is a 5 minute drive to Mar Beach and there is great shopping at the Handicraft House right next to the camp property. Cyprus Lake, amazing cliffs, Bruce Trail hiking trails and lighthouses are only a short drive.
FOOD PREPARATION -
Visitors bring and cook their own food. Some find it helpful to have some dishes precooked in order to cut down on preparation time. The kitchen is equipped with 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators, microwave, toaster oven, freezer, small appliances, dishes and utensils. If yourgroup would prefer to have meals served, this can usually be arranged for an additional cost of $20 per person/day.

Selah Camp & Retreat Center is 5 minutes North of Wiarton, Ontario, right on Highway 6, the 1 km lane way to the camp is beside the 'Handicraft House'. It is in an isolated wooded area with a wonderful view of Berford Lake and amazing view of the spectacular star filled nights. SEE MAP
RESPONSIBILITY -
It is assumed that each individual, group or family using Selah will take responsibility for opening and closing the facility, ensuring that it is left in top shape for the next group. Cooperation in this will ensure its continued availability and low cost. It is also the responsibility of each group's leadership to maintain a high standard of supervision and safety.
COST -
Churches and large groups will be asked to pay $10.00 per person per day and a $100.00 booking fee. If your group would like meals cooked and served the cost is $20 per person/day. Also if there are special needs, please contact using info below. Canoes are available for $10 per canoe/day. Some activities like archery, low ropes adventure course and paintball have an additional fee, as well there is an additional fee for heating during spring/ fall months. Your reservation date is not final until we have received your non-refundable $100 booking fee. Half of your total estimated cost is due at least 1 month prior to your arrival date. The remainder is due before your departure of Selah Camp.
